ENSENADA, Mexico (October 11, 2026). Chris Forsberg and Emelia Hartford earned a Class 7100 victory at the NORRA 500 this weekend, bringing the No. 7164 Forsberg Racing Nissan Frontier to the finish after two demanding days of competition in Baja California.

The Frontier was the only Nissan entered in the 2026 NORRA 500, giving Forsberg and Hartford another opportunity to showcase the Nissan and NISMO platform in one of North America's most challenging off-road environments.

The two-day event took competitors from Ensenada to San Quintín on Friday before returning north to Ensenada on Saturday, putting teams through hundreds of miles of punishing Baja terrain.

Forsberg and Hartford shared driving duties in the 2026 Nissan Frontier, supported by Jackson Orr, Hayden Tavernetti, James Koukoulas and Devin Larson. For Hartford, the NORRA 500 marked her first attempt at a major off-road race like Baja. She delivered a strong debut, helping bring the Frontier home for the Class 7100 win.

The victory continues the growth of Forsberg Racing's off-road program with Nissan and NISMO and adds another result to a season that has taken the team to some of the most recognizable desert races in North America.

Mobil 1 products were used throughout the race program in both the competition Frontier and the team's chase trucks, providing protection in the extreme heat, dust and sustained loads that define Baja racing. The event provided a demanding real-world environment for the products across both competition and support vehicles.

“Baja is always an incredible challenge, and getting the Frontier to the finish with a class win is a great result for everybody involved,” said Forsberg. “Emelia did a wonderful job on her first major off-road race, and getting the car home for the win on her debut is something to be proud of. The whole crew worked hard all weekend. We’ve had a lot of fun building this off-road program with Nissan and NISMO, and having Mobil 1 products protecting both the race truck and our chase vehicles gives us confidence in conditions like these.”

The NORRA 500 expands Forsberg's competition program beyond his longtime success in professional drifting, bringing Nissan and NISMO into additional motorsport disciplines while connecting with off-road and adventure audiences.
