Formula DRIFT returned to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring for Round 7, its first visit to LVMS since 2012. The event introduced an all-new course configuration on a freshly repaved surface.
Chris Forsberg qualified third in the Forsberg Racing Nissan Z. After Thursday night's first qualifying run, the team reviewed the Wally data and adjusted its strategy for Run 2. Forsberg's second run secured third overall and a place in Saturday's Top 32 against Jeff Jones and his Nissan 370Z.
Through seven rounds of the 2026 season, Forsberg had qualified inside the Top 5 six times: third at Long Beach, fourth at Atlanta, first at Orlando, fifth at Stafford, fifth at Indianapolis and third at Las Vegas.
Ayden Copham also competed in the Forsberg Racing PROSPEC Nissan Z, advancing to the Top 16 in Las Vegas to close out his rookie Formula DRIFT PROSPEC season. He continued to build experience, speed and consistency while representing the team and its partners throughout the year.
The Las Vegas Partner Media Gallery includes both Forsberg Racing Nissan Zs, with Chris Forsberg and Ayden Copham on track and behind the scenes. Partners can download the event photography for social, digital and other approved brand channels.
